Incel doesn’t have the same social meaning it used to. Before looksmaxxing became a TikTok trend, we still had a real identity and a real definition of the word “incel”. That has been taken from us. The word incel does not mean those who are involuntarily celibate anymore unfortunately. Normies have hijacked the word from us. It has become another thing they have taken from us and made into a meme. Being called an incel now is like being called a chud. It has no real meaning anymore to normies; which takes away its meaning to us who took it from some lesbian blogger and gave it real meaning. the word is diluted to such an extent that now it is just used as an insult to someone a normie doesn’t like. Most of them don’t even know that it is derived from “involuntarily celibate” and if you ask them what it means, they will say “oh it means you have no friends and are a loser”. Literal married men are being called incels and attractive women who are only asked out by men they view as ugly call themselves incels. The word has lost its true meaning and it won’t ever get it back until we do something

Unfortunately, that’s how it is now. I even see lots of normies on YouTube and TikTok using words like: “It’s over,” “sub-5,” “brutal,” “beta,” “chad,” and “foid.” It’s honestly become ridiculous. I wish I knew which idiot brought all of this into the mainstream!

Another thing I’ve noticed is that anime nowadays is no longer considered something only weirdos or nerds are into. Anime is now part of pop culture. Back then, the people who really binge-watched anime were guys with little social life and nerds something that was seen as loser behavior at the time. People who binged anime back then usually only had friendships centered around others with the same interests.

Nowadays, calling someone a nerd isn’t even really an insult anymore, because being a nerd is now part of pop culture.
