His family wasn't wealthy. He didn't have much given to him besides his car and a few other things. He aspired to become rich though. But most of his attempts were low effort and required extreme luck, such as his lottery binges. If he became lucky, and shed some of his negative aspie traits before 30, he might had succeeded. But bettabux isn't that great, imo.
