I actually wrote books, and technical articles, and SciFi stories before.
But they were just too damned big and needed trimming and severe editing... So I quit.
My greatest effort was...

It covered so many ways to purify water, and start fires, and what wild food requires special cooking....
Such as how to cook a rat. And crows tastes like flying deer. And don't overcook armadillo! (But don't undercook it either!!!)
