It's obvious his rage and grief were authentic but he did seem to have more possibilities than 90% of guys, not only financially but also socially. I know his father was in financial troubles and his parents divorced and all but he still belonged to the cream of the crop of humanity as a rich american from California.
I'm sure a hyper poor third worlder could say the same of us living in the west, but only to some extent though. I mean people here do see me as an underachieving, poor, disgusting loser.
