I was trying to have lucid dreams a couple of years ago, I managed to become lucid a couple of times but couldn't hold it for long before waking up. Becoming lucid in dream is an absolutly crazy and mighty feeling, but it's just too much work, that's why I quit.
Thinking about being lucid falling asleep, remembering your dreams, maybe having a dream diary and all that shit was just too much for me. My daily life is exhausting enough, I couldn't be bothered to stress about my dream life also.
