I think this is mostly because "incel" becomes a new slang which leads to trivialisation of the original meaning or even a mixture of different meanings combined that have nothing to do with the original meaning.

Despite that I would rather not accept self-called incels who already had sex. If you can get sex once, you can get sex again.
For incels, the hope to be able to ascend is an illusion.
In addition, escortcels are also true incels. If one considers the pure definition, incels are seeking for a romantic relationship. This cannot be compared to a visit with an escort, there are no feelings involved.

I don't know tbh. Inceldom is usually described with six months to a year without having sex in mind, but that would mean all foids with dry spells would be able to call themselves "incels." I'd personally let any guy in here as long as they haven't had sex and received any kind of affection or positive attention from women within the past seven to ten years, which is the minimum for me to describe someone as an incel.
