The orthodontist took 3k euro from my parents to put braces on my already straight teeth and didn't fix my main issue which is my bite. Now I have an overbite giving me a short/recessed chin and jaw and TMJ pains.

I can't stress enough how important it is for people to educate themselves before taking some idiot's opinion who flashes a degree and claims to be a fucking expert. I will never forgive my parents for their actions that affect me as long as I live.

Do you still have the braces on? I'm no expert when it comes to orthodontics but I have experience from very deformed teeth, so I can advise you on some different procedures if you like. If the braces are still on, you can attach little hooks around which you can tie tight elastic bands, in order to increase definition in your maxilla, reform your teeth position slightly and correct your bite involuntarily whilst they are on (because they pull the jaw forward). They are quite uncomfortable, but feel free to message me if you want any help regarding orthodontics or around that area; I've had a lot done and can give you an opinion unbiased by the temptations of money.

No I don't have braces on of course im not a teenager "incel". because my issue is sceletal(I have overbite not overjet) , my maxilla is too far down so my lower jaw is "trapped", I think the best solution would be to get jaw surgery. I haven't seen good results from braces in adults, and face pulling masks and appliances probably won't have an effect either. Either way, treatment is too fucking expensive, I had a chance to get my jaw fixed but instead this "doctor" fucked my jaw right up.

I have a similar issue, and that can't really be fixed, just mitigated unfortunately. Jaw surgery is expensive, painful and can be ineffective. I wouldn't recommend it unless it would make you normie tier or is the main thing holding you back, in which case you should opt for double jaw surgery, which I believe corrects bite and improves definition (jawline).

Yup, I have an overbite. That'd be one of my first cosmetic fixes if I had the money for such things.

My chin isn't quite as weak as some guys' are, but to make up for that it has some weird clefting/scarring on it due to an injury from childhood. So instead I cover it up with a shitty patchy beard. Thanks genetics

I had a huge overbite literally couldn't get my bottom set of teeth past my front set by jutting my jaw out. It was bad. I got braces and it's better. I'm left a chincel now.

I'm not kidding when I say my lower third is a Holocaust hellfire.

Stacey can have an overbite ans still look good.

I do.. I might need to do BSSO for it and braces since my teeth are fucked in the first place too tbhthb

classic. but of all the dental deformities, overbite is probably the least bad.

Nope. I have an underbite. My mom even told me it makes me look “unattractive”. Thanks.

aesthetically, an under-bite is the only "deformity" you should worry about.

obviously not, overbite can look terrible as well. even worse than under bite many times. Mine is not THAT bad because it's like 8mm overbite, but it destroys your side profile and gives you a small lower third from the front (namely short chin and narrow jaw)

I have an overbite as well and I'm glad I never gave any money to the dentist Jew.

My teeth are somewhat crooked but this is FAR from my biggest looks problem. My mouth looks good overall even with teeth like that.

Wow. In what context. Did she just say it outright or was it in the topic of a conversation?
