My town is... fine. But it is boring. The only thing it's really got going for it is that it's a student city and students are kind of fun. But other than that I just don't feel like there's much to do, which in a way translates into few places to meet new people, including women of course.
There is a very plain leisure centre, a couple of gyms, a few clubs, some bars... all that usual stuff but they all really require money, friends to go with, confidence, etc. And they're all fairly boring. Most towns around here seem to be like this, and I actually live in one of the better ones.
Compare this to a beach town nearby that has an amusement arcade, beach, mini theme park, art gallery, eclectic bars, alternative indoor market, casino... tons of weird and interesting things! Or when I went to Malta the rocky seafront provided tons of fun places to take a swim!
I'd move to that beach town but it's a poor area these days and I found the people to not be particularly friendly.
Anyway, I'm rambling a bit but I hope it conveyed what I was trying to say.
Does anyone else feel similarly?
