today a homeless 5 yo foid knocked on our door, I got out and she asked me for money, went back inside to reach my wallet, then gave her the equivalent $1.50 in our sandcurrency.

after I gave her that, she asked for food
and began crying because she was hungry I gave her a small disposable plate of baked cookies that was resting on the counter for two days, a loaf of bread (that was baked with onions and some small amounts of lamb inside) from the fridge with a full bottle of water that wasn't in the fridge (that's all I saw prepared and available in the kitchen at that time since I didn't cook food for myself yet and I was home alone)

Am I retarded for doing so? what the fuck was I supposed to do anyways?
