It's something I've wondered about ever since @Wrath left, he was very active here in The SewERs, was in PM groups, he had the most posts in a single thread on .is etc. and yet I've never seen anyone ever talk about him beyond saying 'wrath got up', let alone say they missed him. Frankly, I didn't even realise he'd left until @FuckYou mentioned it once.

Now, I don't really care about 'legacy' or any of that narcy shit, I'm just here to cope, shitpost and find brocels but the idea that one day, I'll log onto incels.is for the last time and a few weeks later, nobody will care about me in quite humbling. Puts into perspective how rapidly and relentlessly time moves.

I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing, I just feel like it illustrates that we're all background characters in everyone else's lives, we're insignificant and will be forgotten shortly after we stop actively asserting ourselves into people's view. And that's completely independent of the fact that we're incels, it's simply how humanity operates.

What do you think?

People only care about the present. They forget those who have been left behind.

i like to think so

Realistically no

Giga brutal read for him if he does come back. He took a couple month hiatus from .is before when he disabled his @Starfish account so I can still see him returning.

Short-term probably - long-term I doubt it.

There are a couple users that have been gone for over a year that I bring up and joke about a bit still and I see other people doing the same thing but I don't think I have that same staying power.

no

No it only happens for @NIGGER BOJANGLES

Realistically no, unless you were a mod or REALLY annoying then nobody would talk about you if you left. Popular users like based meme and ron belgrade have completely been forgotten.

no one would care if I disappeared

I was going to mention it in the thread but the only former users that are still consistently mentioned months/years after their departure are the ones remembered for their infamy, for being trolls, or for just being generally disliked where as paradoxically, the respected and amicable users are forgotten

People such as @anandconda, @SCP-Gorillion, @ALifeWastedOnRot, @Cuckoja, @deleted fren, @Regenerator, @incelerated etc. are all remembered solely due to how many people disliked them and the outrageous shit they said/did.

anaconda will only be forgotten if all the old members get banned :feelskek: the amount of curry wars that mf started is unreal

Yes but not right away like people do when @Animecel2D is offline for over a day.

I still think about and talk about absent users quite a bit.
Like @Overrrr and @SandNiggerKANG1, just to name a few slightly older examples. Pretty much every still remembers and talks about nigger bojangles.

He was gone for a few months earlier this year because he forgot his email or password or whatever and I had to get fat link to help him figure it out. Maybe that's what happened again or maybe he just left on his own. Regardless, he'll probably come back in some way.

I know of both of them despite joining before they left, Belgrade's charisma and cult following alongside his ascension allowed him to buck the trend.

He was looksmax.org mod and he almost became a mod here, it's hard to believe he was only on .is for less than a year. I don't think there'll ever be a user like him, probably for the best.

my legacy here is insignificant, im not deserving of being mentioned if i ever vanished, maybe time will deem me worthy of being a legend in the .is hall of fame one day

I miss @Icarus

Free him!
He's not even banned, kek. He left of his own volition because he didn't like @Bec de Corbin o algo.

Brutal...

That makes no sense at all.

He kept posting to his Youtube community tab a few weeks/months or so after he left .is, apparently he's converted to Chrisitanity.

He's since deleted his Youtube channel.

What happened to @ChudCrusader ?

Not a chance haha

There’s a lot of forgotten paragon users from years ago, I wouldn’t mind being forgotten though, would be cool if I wasnt but idc either way

He claimed he was actually a fakecel with a girlfriend and was immediately banned. :feelskek:
but has the time to post here

I don't have a screenshot of the post he made about his conversion to Christianity but I have an earlier one where he alluded to it:

He was annoyed about getting warnings and bans for aviposting too much.

I'm forgotten in every single environment because I am boring and not good looking

I would have said no, but years ago when I was banned there were so many bros in the banned member thread asking where I was and what happened to me. Was sort of touching.

I was banned for 3 months and was only tagged once.

Incels will always be unpopular even in a community of themselves.

Truth nuke

no, no one cares about me. if i die irl, my family wouldn’t even notice cuz they kicked me out + i have no social circle& if i die here, no one would notice neither. it‘d prob take a few months until my corpse is discovered if i die in my apartment.

I’m sorry to hear that, brocel. :feelsbadman:

why would they be talking about you tho? you left no?

Nope. I've left for months numerous times, would come back with 0 notifications. This can be attributed to having no forum friends, and not being a stand-out character on here

I don't care anymore

Fact

im way to unknown still for anyone to notice my absence

I am completely irrelevant in every metric. Here and irl. Every thread dies with me

Life is impersonal and I agree but when I do that people still talk about me. Some servers due to me being toxic, some due to being iconic server lore, some people still remember my birthday from those servers. Most of the servers where ppl remember me, I was banned from.

If I had to be honest, life feels so much more impersonal irl than on forums or small discord servers. There are no communities for me to join, girls don't even look at my general direction, and normies are braindead.

Take death for example: eventually even close family will move on and most of the times, try to act as though you never existed in the first place, just to not feel pain. Some time later, they just accept it and move on. Not even something as traumatizing as death nets you eternity, unless you are one of the handful of people to be immortalized in their fields of work.

Life just sucks.
