Considering how shitty and intrusive Ads have become because you see them always clutter like 60% of the page on articles and don't get me started on YouTube ones.

Do you think everyone should have one?

Yes.
I use one all the fucking time

if you don't wanna get raped by ads 24/7 then yes.

Yes I use both a adblock network wide and on my browser

yes unfortunately, you're a TV fag who watches YouTube on their big screen which doesn't have any AdBlock capabilities.

No reason not to have one. I could probably live with not having it but why would you choose not to use one when its free and easy. Especially if you use sketchy sites like piracy sites its highly recommended to have one.

Yeah, even a lot of porn sites too because you just get bombarded with "Hot milfs in your area" banners.

Yes, even “secure” websites are flooded with ads. Chrome removing uBlock was the biggest mistake they made.

having ad blocker is a must for at least 15 years, i still remember intrusive ads from late 2000s and some of them could even use vulnerabilities to infect your OS

You can still use Ublock by enabling experiments, but most people won't know this setting unless you're a developer.

Dont browsers come with them?

Absolutely, especially on Big Tech owned sites.

I personally use Brave, as it comes with an adblocker built directly into the Chromium code. You also have access to all extensions/benefits of Chromium. Over the last few years it has not once been broken by YouTube updates.

I know Ublock Origin broke a few times thanks to Jewtube updates which why I watch YouTube via Invidious instances (basically third party YouTube frontend that can access the API)

They plan on doing so but they want to enable the old manifest because business customers may have extensions that only function with the legacy version.

The main reason according to them is security and reducing the effects of malicious browser extensions when they are installed.

Absolutely. I would rather stop using the internet altogether than use it without adblock :feelsUnreal:

I can't imagine browsing the Internet without it

Of course. Billions must adblock

When you really sit down and think about it, internet ad space is perhaps the most valuable entity in the universe right now. More than gold, oil or whatever.

Internet advertisers have the power to dictate who sees what, what news you receive, the media you can enjoy, the games you play and even the UI. Creative thought and community have all been abandoned in order to cater to adspace, as advertisers will select and restrict content by regions in order to form the opinions of the people.

Using adblock isn't only convenient, it's necessary and vital, perhaps the biggest form of online rebellion next to not using the internet at all. Which is why more and more websites are violently cracking down on it, such as YouTube. You essentially rob them of the most powerful entity in existence as of now.

This should be enough of a reason to have 5 adblockers running.

No way!

Those ads are paying the webmasters a living!

It's my duty to view advertising!

uBlock + NoScript mogs

Most ads target foids and normies instead of truecels, rendering them useless. Even with cookies enabled, I only see cheap Chinese gadget ads.

Yes. I recommend Adnauseum, a fork of Ublock Origin which simulates "clicks" on ads to defraud advertisers and help pollute data-collection efforts and trackers.

Ads are the evilest thing invented

yes. I have brave browser on my phone as well. Fuck all the idiots who complain about ads but dont take 1 min to get a better browser that saves them hours
