I saw a few images that people share how much money they got paid by twitter (x). How likely is that someone can make a living from that? I think about starting to post something and somehow getting rich. I have an account I created in 2020, but I have only 1 follower (probably some investment scam profile).

Do any of you get paid for twitter posts? How easy it is to get followers and make money there?

No, I've never made a single post on shitter

I post a lot on there but I don't get paid lol.

It would be good if were able to do it. Post something and being paid for it, almost free money.
If it was that easy, nobody would work a 9 to 5 slave job anymore.

The easiest way to make money as a talentless content creator is probably to make trendy AI TikToks, get a lot of followers and then slide in gambling app ads.

If it was that easy nobody would be working normal jobs, don't you think?

Maybe not easy but some people do it. I'm currently researching ways to make money on the internet with the least effort possible. Until now I found betting on polymarket, first started writing a bot, but failed, now I'm betting on my own and copy other people, I only started with 50 USD now, I do not want to lose more money (I lost 2000 USD last year already). I also made a mobile app and plan to make more in the future, my first app is a simple alarm clock, just to try out how does the publishing process to play store works. I try to replace my normal job, help if you have any better ideas.

Making it as an online content creator is all a gamble and you need passion for it. I make art and games as a hobby but earn nothing from it because I am not good and productive enough. Even if you start making money, it won't replace your normal job. Better to treat it like a hobby.

I wasn't joking about AI tiktok. I heard that creators there earn much more than on YouTube.

I don't use social media very much even as a teenager. This site is quite literally the most i used of social media.

No, all my accounts have been deleted for hate speech

I think you have to have X premium

This. Also realise that for every successtory there are 1000s of failures. People who put in 80-100 hours a week for months or even years and still barely get 500 views on social media.

Exactly. Some fields are like being a pianist, where you are competing with much more talented people who started training at 9 years old. Other fields are all about luck and wether you have the charisma to get a following or not. Either way you can't take anything for granted. Most people who managed to get big enough to make a living like that online were people who started as a hobby and at some point, maybe after years of slow progress, realized that they were making enough money to leave their day job.
