I guess it's possible that it's done for sinister reasons... which would explain why they're so keen to force them.

It's Microsoft. Need I say more. Bill Gates is a demon.

lol does it do that often?

I use Linux so I have no idea.
Based for using Linux. I'm too retarded in the IT department to use that. I should learn one day, however.

If you buy a Linux Mint pendrive from a reputable eBay seller then that's a nice easy start! :feelscomfy:

The main thing that made me start this thread is how ThioJoe actually seemed keen to get the new update!

To be honest there was once a time many moons ago that I was very keen to get updates too, but only on Linux. I think this was mostly on the Suse, Slackware and Ubuntu distros.

I was very new to Linux at the time and the updates were usually quite significant and didn't feel forced or corporate, so I felt keen to check them out!

Just let Windows look over you're shoulders every five seconds bro

(Just like Apple already did for five years now)

Yeah it's starting to feel like MS want your PC to be more like a dumb terminal than your own computer.

It does feel kind of like that yeah.

It's all a bit strange, IMO!

I'm glad I'm so far outside of it!
At Least Microsoft won't kill your computer so you are forced to buy a new one like Apple does...

But they will bsod you and "update rape" you fairly often.

As long as my system works without blowing up i am fine with it.Still I keep delaying the updating process cause i am too lazy to do it.
