One of the reasons. At least back then was to prevent the site from turning into something like Reddit. Where people try to farm “updoots” or in this case, reaction points.

Though I agree with you. I’d like a reaction based system. Why not? Could encourage people to post shit that’s actually well thought out.

All other sites managed by Master have reactions, why can’t we use it?

I guess it’s a difference with the user base. That and there was less rules back then. .is was kind of the Wild West of the internet. Kind of how the internet was pre 2000s.

You could do/say whatever the hell you wanted. Given you weren’t a fakecel fag.
