I had to wear glasses permanently since ~3yo because of strong hypermetropia which has been gradually worsening throughout my life, and will continue to aggravate further especially when age-related hypermetropia joins. In the recent years it also caused an accompanying problem of astigmatism. I currently have +6.5/+4.5 hypermetropia and +3.5/+1.5 astigmatism levels. It's often physically painful to look through my todays glasses but without them I have vision level of a mole. No way to fix that either because refractive surgery doesn't deal with such high values.

Poor eyesight contributed to my general social awkwardness & subpar looks. I cannot react quickly to things happening around me and usually do it in a clumsy way. Due to that I was always treated as inferior by normies, and as an actual subhuman gas chamber material by... well, you get it.

Glasses since I think 7 years old until I more recently got contacts. 2.50 power. I was the glasses nerd most of my life.

With glasses though you can look down beneath glass.

Im naturally near-sided and need to wear prescription glasses.

I also have a cataract in my right eye but that's my own fault.

Eating more eggs improved mine a little, I was probably deficient in vitamin D.

My eyes are really sensitive to light, especially sun light and sky light

Otherwise I have a very good vision

My eyesight is perfect. I had an injury that should have made me completely lose my vision in my right eye but praise the Lord I can see again.

Yeah. I use glasses. But not that bad. I dont find glasses ugly really. They are normal these days. I dont mind it
