I was very accident prone when I was younger, had some painful experiences and needles in opened wounds are brutally painful.

First house I ever lived in and grew up in had roaches EVERYWHERE. I fucking hate them with a passion. They make my fucking skin crawl.

I have acrophobia which is fear of heights, honestly I was always annoyed by this being considered an ''irrational'' fear, heights are very fucking dangerous, if you aren't careful you could fall down and kill/injure yourself
I am also afraid of snails, cephalopods, jellyfishes (not irrational tbh), sea stars, sea cucumbers, corals, large spiders, large flying insects

Im afraid of sudden loud noises, that's why I couldn't finish education to become a welder and now I'm a neet outcast. Other stupid fears I have is looking at smoke detector in dark room or the blinking red light directly and looking underwater if I swam in abandoned quarry. Last summer smoke detector started chirping due to low battery, I felt really uncomfortable and changed the battery quickly after it chirped. Nothing actually to be afraid of, probably another aspie traits.

I relate to this and as a kid I would stop talking for days if my parents did something like shut a door really loud

coulrophobia (clowns), masklophobia (uncanny huge mascots that are almost like they're weird giant monsters) are past phobias when i was a kid.

Cockroaches.

I can NOT stand roaches. It is easily by far my greatest fear, and probably one of my only ones. It's only roaches, too. I don't have an issue with other insects. I love wasps and spiders and often feed the wasps in my backyard and let them fly around me as I sit down and enjoy the weather. But as soon as I see a roach, I go pale and will avoid the area as much as I can bear to. I thoroughly clean my and my closet to ensure that roaches never have a place to fester around in.

to be fair anyone has "arachnophobia" if youre specifying its only huge spiders. Yhea no one gives a shit about a small spider but a huge hairy tarantula the size of a human head only a mentally ill person wouldnt be scared of that. I had water phobia , needle phobia but I manned up and faced them now they don't exist. However my fear of animal pets or even bird pets still exist and I'm always in a fight or flight mode around them. I once even tried to choke my friend's dog cuz idk I felt it would attack me.
