Discussion Do you have a "cool" uncle ?

It seems like in most families there is always that one cool uncle. He usually has that strong, raspy voice, a specific hobby or member of some club, relaxed and always likes to crack jokes.

Unfortunately i dont have such an uncle. Most men in my family are boring Oofy Doofy betabuxxers who dont have any interests other than being a wagie and a lapdog to their wife.

Yup. I have such an uncle, I call him my MGTOW uncle because his former (and I guess that legally still current wife) literally stole his kid and ran away to the USA on a plane and my cousin got depressed so she had to send him back on account of him not fitting in with the Amis. Basically my uncle has given up on women and owns a cabin in the woods by a lake. He drinks a lot and plays basketball with 18 year olds at the ripe old age of 70.

What I admire most about him is his lifestyle. He lives as cheaply as possible, with like 200$ a month for gas and food. The dude is so fucking fit, fitter than I ever was in my life and probably fitter than I'll ever be. He's not a mogger by any degree but the guy does so much sport that the Doctor had to ask him to stop on account of the fact that his stomach might rupture. Honestly he is my favorite family member and I aspire to be just like him in my 60s and 70s. A house in a city and a cabin in the woods, he gets to experience the best part of both lives and that on very very little money.

Kind of, two "uncles" that aren't really uncles. They're cousins of my dad and they're like 10 years older than me. One is an obese guy and the other is a tall alcoholic.
