I went to the theater alone to watch a horror movie I was wanting to see. This rather lovely lady sits 2 seats next to me, all by herself too. Didn’t think a minute about it. As the movie progresses, we start chatting to each other about what’s gonna happen, plot twist, blah blah.

Once it’s over, we both walk out together talking about it and stuff in general. She was walking with me back to my car, and it hit me to ask if I could walk her to hers first. She said absolutely. Walked her to her car, she mentioned how she feels nervous about going to bed alone, AND MY DUMBASS SAID, OH YOU’RE TOO BRAVE FOR THAT. GOODNIGHT.

Never got her name or number. It didn’t hit me until she was long gone, and I’m driving home like an idiot.
