I kind of do. I am kind of tired of the trope of "WE WON AND ALL IS SWELL" this rarely happens irl, if the good guys win, there is usually some massive casualties to the degree that it might as well count as a loss.

When they do I have genuine respect for the creators and the project

Even the most blackpilled film I can think of whatever 1999 ends in a good way for the main character so that should tell you alot since Most things are made for normies who have no capacity for bad endings


It reminds me of the show prison break when I was watching awhile ago
At one point the main charecters gf Is killed and they find her head in a box and I thought to myself
“Thats actually pretty fucked up they had some balls doing that”

And then the very next season they pathetically pulled it all back like little bitches and they revealed it was someone elses head and his gf returned

I like American History X’s ending. I'm glad the filmmakers gave it a twist instead of ending the movie with a predictable redemption arc.
