if you do wich one (or various) and why?, and if you dont why?
Really makes one think indeed.

Atheism is even worse tbh, because supernatural is a sine qua non condition to natural. Natural can't be the first cause of natural (or else we get an endless loop of "and who created that?) and things can't have existed forever (entropy, thermodynamics, etc).

Supernatural origin to natural= God.

The specific things religions claim, like the virgin birth of Jesus for an example, are a matter of faith and trusting the testimony of the apostles, etc, but believing in God as defined in the line above isn't. You can infer it.

i saw this post and it really made me think, because if you think about it, even if theres no soul there still needs to be a reason for electricity behaving in a certain way in your brain causes consciousness, or why certain atoms being arranged in a certain way causes X or so.

No. Fuck that faggot.

In Jesus Christ my Lord

I do not believe in God, and that post is nonsense. Ignorance is not evidence of God. Saying "we do not know the first cause, therefore supernatural" is just filling a gap with wishful thinking. Not knowing why consciousness arises or why matter behaves as it does is not proof of divinity, it only shows the limits of what we know.

History is full of this mistake. People once said lightning proved God, disease proved God, the movements of the planets proved God. In time, natural explanations replaced them all. Let us not repeat the same immemorial mistake.

You cannot infer God from what you do not know. All you can say is that the answer is not yet clear, and that is not the same thing as proof.

good take.

Yes and i believe he made me the way i am as a test

Yeah, i dont have the faith to believe everything came by itself

No. There is no concrete proof of a creator, ergo I chose to go where the evidence leads. Obviously soyence has gotten less and less reliable, but compared to most faiths it has a smaller number of assumptions.
Yeah, i dont have the faith to believe everything came by itself
But you have enough faith to believe in a personable, all powerful being? Curious.

I believe there is some creator but not in any religion in specific

Faith/Common Sense

Creating everything(every star, atom etc) from nothing means you are All-Powerful.

Personal? Yes
He chose (He could have chosen to not create) to make everything which means He is a personal being with choice/self-awareness

It doesn't really make sense to me that the universe and life could just spring into existence from nowhere.

No, believing in God is cope

My soul belongs to Choronzon.

That original argument sounds like banana argument with $5 words sprinkled in
