If the economy, the state, and all other structures both natural and artificial that keep modern society running were to suddenly collapse in an apocalyptic scenario, would you be able to survive? Or would you quickly perish due to starvation, disease, violence, ect.?

Personally, I’d mostly likely die fast unless I get lucky and I’m able to join a group for protection.

I have 18-months food supply in storage.

Probably die, I have no transferable survival skills.

No, I'm not. Nobody should be. I know how to hunt, cook, build primitive structures, etc.

I like to think if society collapsed I could survive at least for a couple of years, hopefully a few decades

I'm somewhat in shape as well albeit I'm not muscular yet

You should buy the book which is on Amazon about restarting civilization if society collapsed

It covers a lot of useful skills for survival in nature

I think there is a PDF of it available somewhere online

i'd die but not as quickly as other people, probably after a few months or years, im in good shape and plan on getting in an even better shape
I should probably know how to manage a lot of stuff, water, weather, light etc. but i barely know how to cook and with my dyspraxia i'll probably struggle with making basic structures, hunting/climbing for exemple

People are social animals. Preps don't matter if you cannot collab or negotiate. I'll just die

Yes, because humans evolved to use socilization as a survival mechanism. A lone human would have a very hard time surviving. Which is unfortunate because I like being alone.

for years my plan was to illegally live off grid in a DIY cabin in a random forest.
