I grew up in a relatively big city and in comparison to smaller villages/small towns it's much more looks-based. When I go and visit family (town maybe ~5000-10000 population) I see a lot of uglier dudes with prettier foids. Is the dating pool just smaller? Or is it just their mentality

You only really see this in really small towns though. Also, country foids might as well not be human, their personalities and interest have the depth of a puddle.

If it was still 2008 and before and dating apps and such didn't exist, yeah, unless it's someplace super remote like rural Siberia.

Now it really doesn't matter. There's obviously certain places where hypergamy is on steroids and you need to be a 6'0+ Low Tier Chadlite to get a LTB, but for everywhere else it's practically the same as it is -- where you need to be at least a LHTN and 5'10"+ to get anyone at all.

I have relatives in rural towns of less than 2000 that are like 2+ hours away from the nearest large city, and situations like fat foids with skinny HMTNs are extremely common. Not to mention there is an overabundance of druggies and fat women in these towns. I remember one incel vlogger saying that there are small towns in Iowa and shit that have hot foids. I've been to dozens of small Midwestern towns and haven't seen that at all. I don't think anywhere except aformentioned extremely remote places are exempt from hypergamy in 2026.

Back in 2021, I had a friend in extremely rural Alberta (he is like 4 hours away from Edmonton, which is the nearest city) make me a Tinder, and within a 60 mile radius, not a single foid swiped right on me over the course of a month and a half. I had my height in my bio with my interests and I am well groomed and obviously not fat. Out in rural Canada it seems there are less fatties.

Yeah phrases like "New York 6" exist for a reason.
But women are more likely to flee little podunk towns to get work out earning their peers in the cities so probably won't do us much good.
