Everybody below high-tier normie looks is miserable. People are everywhere, everybody is pushy and a complete arse around the clock, shitty air quality, constant noise, you'll run into more conformism. List could go on. You'll go out with a good mood and come back home feeling like shit due being on edge all the time. No other environment does this to somebody like the city does.

Compare to rural life where, relatively speaking, everyone mostly keeps to themselves, there's more space, peace, and safety. It's more quiet and calm. There are also a lot less good-looking people and quite a lot of loners living in small, old houses they've inherited and whatnot. Granted, you will always be judged as an incel, but you wouldn't stick out as much in small towns and villages.

Having property out in the countryside is the only way I can find some inner calm.

There is no appeal id go mental if i was in a city, thankfully i live in a tiny shithole with 2500 people

I think almost everyone here who lives in a city does so involuntarily (forced to live there due to employment reasons or are simply unable to move out from their parents).

Large cities are hell on earth.

more opportunities for ascension.

Yeah, in my case:
Brutal. I imagine being in a city makes it hard to learn to drive and being unable to drive makes it hard to go elsewhere to practise under more manageable conditions.

I'm infinitely happier since finally leaving city areas.

I don't like traveling to cities because I get mogged by people my age to oblivion

True

I try taking trains to suburbs and hiking trails far from the city at least once a month to escape from it all

I used to live in a forest and I miss it alot life was much better i remember how calm it was just cutting trees, carrying coal and doing other maintenance around the property. There was probably at most like 50 people in my area, I miss that sense of community and the competition is very low, alongside the fact that people don't care as much about appearance in such small communities.

I just moved into the city and i agree. I live next to a night restaurant with a loud live band

There's another one nearby aswell, they blast music till midnight JFL

And the main, 4 lane road is 20 meters away from my building

I miss my village already, it's alot more peaceful and the air is fresh

bunch of restaurants / activities in walking distance

also, less need for a car

other than that, way too loud / crowded / hectic for me. no thanks. im more of a cabin in the woods type of guy

I currently live in a rural area; escaping the capital was the best thing I could have done.

Rural life would suit me, if not for the lack of amenities and job opportunities.
