So I was just wondering, where did they get that from? Do any of you actively calls this site a support group? I personally view it as a venting and discussion place where you may or may not occasionally get some support in the form of alerts.

The way I see it it, they mean like this site being a place to "put each other up". Like a you help me and I help you type of situation, and nothing else.
Which sometimes this site can be, but I'd say most of the time it isn't.

Based on what others have said, most of us seem to get some form of indirect support based on the mutual understanding and the good laughs.

I guess it makes sense that "the truth will set you free". Even tho is harsh to swallow, I'm in peace with the idea of dying alone and is all thanks to this site and a couple others that help me cope.

No, this forum is not a support group. I am not the one who says that, but the blackpill. The blackpill forces us to see reality for what it is. Thus, treating this forum as what it is not (support group) would be a delusion, which, sadly, many users here do. It has been proven repeatedly that the majority of users here hate each other. Again, I am not the one saying that but the numerous polls asking users questions regarding that. Additionally, users here would sell you out for 2 slices of bread. "There's no honor among thieves" is what I heard some user say when discussing whether they would help an Incel in real life or preserve their status.

There is definitely something therapeutic about conversing and interacting with other people in similar circumstances to your own, in knowing that you aren’t truly alone and that there are many other guys out there in the same position. For most of us this place is the only place we can freely express our deepest thoughts and opinions, our anxieties and insecurities, our fears and even our hopes, a place where we can be free or judgment. For some of us the people we talk to on this website this place are the closest thing to friends we have. So yes, this place does function as a support group, even if not in the traditional sense.

Yea I agree. I mean I think there is Occasionally some legit advice on looksmax but I mean there not a whole lot we can do to help each other you know.
