good game for people who want pokemon but alot darker and story heavy,(there is implied deaths, comas, and mystery). ALso if u like persona 5, fire emblem turn based stuff give it a try

Story mogs pokemon hard, combat is harder and more fun. Art/graphics mog too.
Digimon anime also mogs pokemon. at this point Digimon mogs pokemon in all ways.

Nostalgia overrides actual good gameplay or story telling, so I still like Pokémon better.

That game has excellent OST.
But what I hated from it is that the movepool is really limited, almost every digimon can share all of the existant movepool since there aren't really enough moves.

true move pool is limited and near the end game started to get boring and so I rushed thru it. overall tho it's far far better than Pokemon

metagame wise it's boring and it is just basically power boosting with expensive things, pokemon at least has complexity withing competitivity and breeding stuff, so it's a point for pokemon post-game wise.

yeah Pokemon does have competitive fun tho and getting legendaries in Pokemon is alot more fun than here. hopefully Digimon survive doesn't disappoint. from the trailer looks like it will be an srpg which I like more than Pokemon type battle system

On first impressions, Digimon cyberslut looks like a mess to play for a modern game, the menus n interface look like they were from PS2 era. I'll probably still be able to enjoy it bcos of the OG mons though

I liked Digimon anime better, watched 01 to frontier. Pokémon anime felt like it had no proper structure, always felt like they took 1 day to think of an episode n produced it, though I still enjoyed it as a kid seeing the Pokémon n the world they lived in.
Anyway both franchises hv lost that magic for me.

Digimon cyber sleuth probably has 1/3 budget of Pokemon and was originally a vita game which is why graphics are the way they are. tho I like them
