My extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) liked me when I was a cute little kid (before age 9 let's say) and I still had a bouncy, talkative personality. I think they assumed I was going to turn out to be a normie like them when I got older. But as soon as I hit adolescence (age 12), when I became quiet and self-conscious (due partly to school bullying and partly to my crappy mental health genetics), they noticeably didn't like me as much anymore, if at all. I think they could sense I was going to be an incel virgin loser. And they haven't contacted me or had anything to do with me in over 20 years now (I'm over 35 now). I'm dead to them.

And when I saw my cousin at the fair from a distance a few years ago for the first time in like 20 years, she gave me the ugliest death look ever and quickly turned around. Then I saw her again there and she was trying not to look at me, but had a sour expression on her face. She LOVED me when I was 6 years old. :feelscry:

My distant family always liked me more than my parents. Then at around the age of 6 something happened and I started growing inhibitions and became more reserved. It's like a negative feedback loop I guess. Being unlikable leads to being even less likable.

Yeah as long as you're a talkative normie like them they like you. If you're seen as "odd" they cut you off. :feelsbadman:

Nothing new under this oppressive gyrocentric world, women do what they want and if they're ugly even then must respect them while they'll treat you like a subhuman if you aren't to standards

No, my birthgiver was neglectful and abusive towards me all my life, she'd beat me for the smallest things. The extended family doesn't like me either because they don't see any value in me, but atleast they treat me better than the ape does.

My mom loved me and no one else.

They hated me and never cared too much

when you're young, you're all cute no matter who you are.

But when you hit puberty, you can become an uggo or a chad.
Halo effect is crazy

Anyone around their extended family today?

They criticized me from day 1, sometimes rightfully, sometimes unjust.

not at all, even if distorted perception might make it so, i was always just a project, intended to perform at a certain level or be trashed

when you're a kid you don't react the same way to insults, abuse, or even getting smacked around, you bounce back more easily, but that doesn't mean you were treated better

getting older is often actually an improvement, because it means you don't get your ass kicked by your parents anymore

then, after that, you can look forward to being asked to take care of them as they destroy their health like retards
