Discussion Did your dad adore you as a little boy but as an incel man he doesn't like you much anymore due to inceldom? Or does he like you the same still?

My dad died when I was 10 (right before I hit puberty and started having sexual feelings), so he never saw me develop into an incel. He really loved me as a boy but I don't know if he would like me now as an adult the way I turned out. I know he had some hopeful fantasies of me being a baseball or basketball player tall Chad (even though there's not an athletic bone in my body and I'm 5'10", but I was 5'8" at age 12 ). How did things go with your dad?

He seemed the same to me mostly since I was a kid till when he died when I was an adult. That was already a long while ago so can’t say what he’d be like now for sure but I don’t think much would have changed

he seemed to decide extremely early on that i was a "runt" and would never amount to anything. i was barely a couple years old.
consequently his investment in me was reduced to the absolute minimum.

i have no idea how he did that. but his assessment seemed to be correct.

i always thought it was too harsh, since i was not that short, or dumb, or any obvious failing, but it turned out he was right in the end.
