I did not know anyone at my school.

I was the quiet boy in class that never spoke and was never spoken to.

On prom night, I was in my bedroom playing Hitman Codename 47.

Trying my hardest to forget it was prom night, but 26 years later……I have not forgotten.

No. Tickets were $120 a person, and I had only five friends in high school. I certainly could not ask anybody out as I was being followed constantly by an aide and I was known as "that weird psycho kid" because I was always being watched by an aide.

However, I went with two of my friends to one of their houses on prom night and we spent the entire night smoking weed and drinking beer and playing Goldeneye, so it was one of the best times I had.

Plus, we had the last laugh after all. The prom started at 10:00, and after a half-hour, somebody apparently called in a bomb threat, so the authorites spent until 11:45 searching the grounds until they confirmed it was a hoax. Apparently, some stupid freshman called it in off of his home phone, so they traced the call and caught him immediately. As the prom was supposed to end at 12:00, the school basically refunded everybody's tickets and made everybody go home.

My teacher begged me to go. He knew I was just gonna be humiliated. Im never going outside unless I have to again.

Going to prom even if you didn't have a date, was fairly normalized where I was. And I had good bros at high school who definitely tried to encourage me to go with them.

But they all had dates, who were girls I'd never met or even really seen before, I didn't know how they did it, and it made me feel very inadequate, and somehow I knew that if I went to prom without a date, it would be a brutal avalanche of mogging, because outside of my friends most people are cunts who won't hesitate to kick a nerd to make themselves feel bigger.

So I went to a pre-prom drinks and getting ready to go thing that one of my friends hosted at his place, and then I wished them well as they went off to prom, and I went home and read a book. I don't recall what book.

There was no prom, they just gave us our graduation paper. Some foids and fags made some dances in the stage but there wasn't a prom. A brutal thing that happened to me is that when you had to land in the place of the ceremony you were supposed to do it with a foid or at least with a male friend, I was the only one who got into the place alone.
