Studies also indicate piercings and tattoos correlate with low self-esteem. So does seeking validation from sexual partners, hence why we incels think of ourselves as "ascended" if we get sexual validation. If a female has a bunch of tats and piercings, it would make sense that she's a whore.

I've noticed camwhores and amateur porn seems to be disproportionately full of people with tats and piercings. I guess most celebrities have some skill like acting or singing, but for the porn performers the only motivations to perform are money and exhibitionism. It makes me think like you say they get the body modifications for attention, and then crave more attention as validation.
