i have the money to do it but when i see offers they don't include anesthesia (i've seen that they can hold people's eyes open somehow so its possible), is there any brocel who got it under anesthesia? i've got an extreme phobia when it comes to medical procedures, doctors told me that i need a tonsillectomy, septoplasty etc. but i never reallywent trough with any of it because my survival instinct would engage and i'd break something
my first and last medical procedure was 10+ years ago and i almost broke the door while trying to escape & had to be held down by approx 3-4 interns

i've heard of people actually smelling their eyeballs burning from the laser and the doctors touching their eyes so it'd be like a fucking horror for me

No, no, the surgery seems horrifying but it's actually worth it. I plan on getting it myself.

I had an uncle that went through it, he said it only pinched for a second and his eyes were dry for a few weeks after but it was the best decision he's ever made. I plan on getting the surgery myself when I have enough money, but for now I just wear contacts.
i will most likely get contacts and learn to cope with spending money on them but my optometrist appointment is in a year (the wonders of living under socialist healthcare)

ye, i think its alright, it cuts a small part at the top of ur eyes though, just fyi. :3

Don't do it. Don't risk your fucking eyes. Side effects are too severe.
It gets safer every year. Imo worth the risk if you have enough money to let yourself recover in case it goes wrong. You could also do one eye and leave other as is if risk averse. When the first has fully recovered, do the other.

I got it via tax payers while armyceling:smonk:

Go to private one then. People praise private doctors for terms, but I myself can't say a good word about them.
i'd rather buy a new monitor than pay for a visit tbh

what's your vision like? mine is -3.5 on both eyes :feelsrope::feelsrope::feelsrope: I've been wearing contacts for almost 7 years now

I’m also interested in getting this surgery. Anyone know the going rate these days?

Even the smallest risk of permanently fking up my eyes up is too much for Me TBH

Hey ill be getting it in a few years. My uncle and cousin had it done when they were almost 21,go to a good eye specialist,my cousin told me,they use tape to hold your eyes wide and basically subject it to a cold shower of lasers, you might have to take eye drops for a few weeks tho.

No it just feels cold when they put laser on your eyes
