Discussion Did any of you get affection from your family as a child?

I did and I miss it. It was mostly from my mom and nana. But ever since my step dad came in the picture it decreased by a lot. And when I became a teenager I got little to no physical affection from my family. I miss being little and cuddling with my mom, getting hugs and kisses from my family. I get none of this anymore. And it has made me start to hate my mom but I mostly hate my step dad he ruined lots of my life I appreciate him contributing financially though.

I only have one grandma left alive I hug her sometimes but no one else in my family hugs me really maybe very rarely but practically nothing .
