Of course! I got mine as a christmas present back in 2003, i was 12. It had 256mb. Awesome times. Probably the best christmas present i got next to a PS1.

My first MP3 Player was one from Medion. It was an Audio CD MP3 Player. It worked like a trooper for a long time. I have no fucking clue where it is nowadays.
It was a gift from my parents for my 17th birthday iirc.


My second MP3 player was the first one I've bought from my own money. It was a Sony Walkman NWZ-A816 in black with 4 Gb storage.

Full metal or aluminum casing, afaik.

Paid 120€ back then.

No, but I used my dad's frequently when I couldn't sleep as a kid and it only had a small handful of songs that were decent, so I only listened to those on repeat. I have extremely repetitive music listening habits today and this could be the reason.
