Other than having cancer he was health wise the complete opposite of me which is to say a robustly healthy blue collar outdoorsman type of guy that loved to be outside in nature and hunt and fish.

After he completed his initial medical tests when being assessed for his cancer diagnosis which included running on a treadmill the doctor/s actually put “grossly healthy” on his chart.

He wasn’t a body builder or a giga Chad in appearance but just an upper mid tier normie of a normal weight range that was strong as fuck probably from cutting trees down and lifting their limbs around for years in his various outdoor persuits and fixing things at the cement plant in which he worked which probably also required lots of lifting and endurance for walking long distance because having seen it and been there myself the location is rather large as you might expect.

He also jogged and bicycled regularly which probably only aided in him being a total cardio machine.

Our former family doctor who is now retired told him before the cancer that he would probably make it to his early or mid 80’s based on the condition of his heart.

I’m guessing without the cancer or heart condition he’d of probably made it to 100 or close as our doctor told him his heart was either enlarged or becoming so and I’m thinking that was probably due to his hereditary high blood pressure.

He took blood pressure meds regularly for it but apparently they weren’t enough to stop his heart from enlarging.

Anyway he made it to age 51.
