In our discussion on race, @Sewer Stomper presented me with what looks like screenshot of a research article on racial differences in grey matter volume between white people and black people. Here it is,
Ok. So while reading this the first red flag to me was that it is published in "The Journal of the Alzheimer's association". And I was like, wait a minute, Alzheimers? let's check this out. So I googled a bit and found the website of "Alzheimer's association" which publishes this journal. They are at their 22nd issue now and as we can see this article was released in the 16th issue. I couldn't find the 16th volume on the website but fortunately there was a search function. So I searched by author's name and found the exact article which you can read here.
Article link
For your benefit I'll post an excerpt from the abstract:
What this means in plain english is that they took a bunch of brain scans from a sample space of around, like 250 adults and did their thing. But there's something else here. You can see that they are testing normal adults instead of alzhiemer's patients so this has nothing to do with the disease and the conclusions can be generalised for the entire racial populations, right? EXCEPT, the average age of the bloke being tested is 83.
Yes 83, you read that right. These are a bunch of fucking geriatrics on their death bed. So what conclusions we can draw from this? That from THIS PARTICULAR 263 large sample of old dudes and dudettes, whose brain mass has been dying out for who knows how long, the whites ones seem to have more grey matter in some key parts of the brain than the black ones. And on top of that the conclusion says that this is still an open question subject to analysis of selection bias in racial recruitment.
But this is the conclusion that @Sewer Stomper wants me to draw from this, and I quote,
The funny part here is that the ROIs this study focuses on are the ones linked with memory. Which means they are looking at grey matter in brain parts that are associated with memory. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH INTELLIGENCE AT ALL. And the worst thing is that this much is actually mentioned in the otherwise carefully cropped screenshot that he posted. Of course they are testing memory of geriatrics. It's a fucking Alzheimers journal.
This is of course not a reflection on @Sewer Stomper but more of a comment on misinformation. And not trusting memeographic jpgs being shared around /pol/ and other forums that appeal to personal biases, on face value without due dilligence.

Background
Previous studies indicate there are racial differences in the prevalence of Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementias, suggesting older Blacks are about twice as likely to have dementia as older Whites. Incorporating neuroimaging measures is necessary to understand the neural pathology underlying the mechanisms of these racial disparities, however limited data exists on neuroimaging outcomes among racially diverse adults of advanced age.
Method
We examined cross-sectional associations of race and memory-related gray matter volume (GMV) regions of interest (ROIs) in 263 community-sampled adults (mean age 83, 57% female, 39% Black) from the Healthy Brain Project, a substudy of the Health, Aging, and Body Composition Study. Generalized linear models were used to test associations between race and memory-related GMV ROIs (hippocampus, posterior cingulate cortex, parahippocampal gyrus, and entorhinal cortex), quantified using magnetic resonance imaging.
Result
Compared to Whites, Blacks consistently showed smaller GMV in four memory related ROIs, cross-sectionally. Racial differences in GMV remained in the parahippocampal gyrus (β=-433.42, 95% CI: -642.96, -233.87) and entorhinal cortex (β=-159.18, 95%CI: -245.89, -72.48), after adjusting for demographic, environmental, and psychosocial covariates.
Conclusion
The association between gray matter volume of memory-related ROIs and race is only partially explained by the demographic, environmental, and psychosocial factors considered in the present study. Quantitative bias analysis will be used to address whether these findings are the result of selection bias due to racial differences in recruitment.

niggers are dumber than whites because they have smaller brain regions and less brain matter than whites even when of the same economic/social/mental health background. You can point to an individual nigger who is smarter than an individual white but that's like pointing out a specific female who's stronger than a man, racism and sexism exist because of the natural genetically caused averages not the exceptions.
