Myth #2: "Mass incarceration equals safety." Japan is one of the safest countries, yet it has one of the lowest incarceration rates.

Myth #3: "Mass incarceration is conservative." Japan has one of the lowest incarceration rates, yet it doesn't allow gay marriage and has less abortion.

Myth #4: "Conservatives should oppose gun control." Japan has gun control, yet it's conservative. Maybe that's also why it's so safe.

So how do you explain El-Salvador which was a crime-ridden shithole until Bukele came in and instituted mass-incarceration of gang members, leading to a 98% decrease in homicide rates in nine years and making it the safest country in the whole of latin america?
