What is the point of deleting your account here if your posts are still linked and only your username is randomized? What would be the point? - If you used your real name as your forum handle or something?

The problem I have with the option to delete your account is the fact you’re not allowed to come back with a new account because someone could delete their account and then days later be back ‘Well, fuck, I actually miss this place’.
