I used to be. It is fucking over, man. The current playerbase is absolute dogshit.
Some fifteen years ago it was nice and people were actually willing to play a certain role / persona but nowadays everyone just kills on sight and nobody wants to role together.
I used to play this game to be able to communicate about all kinds of stuff, both ingame and about real life to improve my English, Russian as well as French and Dutch.
It was great. Do what you like and learn while doing it.
Nowadays people rarely even speak. It's lile they're all on some antidepressant or drugs.

Such games are only fun when you play with buddies, especially during Arma 2 era.
