it's not that good tbh
People were saying 'its the best game oat' and stuff like that
AgreeThrough the years ,since a child, i played SNES, Gamecube, Wii and Wii U and PC, and Dark Souls saga was very fun and my recent favorite, and yes, the difficulty had a big role. Both Zeldas games i completed (To compare with something similar and not a Mario game), Twilight Princess and Skyward, while they had WAY better story telling, they also were baby easy and barely felt fear of death while playing.
Another bait threadit's not that good tbh
I think the main reason I don't like it becausae there was non stop glaze about the game so I only heard the positives not negativesAnother bait thread
DS1 combat is better than WoW I agreeWoW's combat system, feels way more interactive and you can actually dodge/parry attacks. Also, way less grindy and RNG based to upgrade your character
Thisit's not overrated, rather overhyped. It is really not for everyone
DS1 is in my top 10 games of all time can't relateit's not that good tbh
Is dark souls main gimmick giving you the fear of death?barely felt fear of death while playing.
Let me be delusional and feel a fake sensation of triumph when In play them.True
None of those games are hard nor do they require skill FromShit fans only praise Dark Soy for the false sense of achievement

I couldn't beat or get through the second boss in Dark Souls 1.
Was playing it on computer and realize I have terrible reaction speed, and swing my sword too fast early on.
May try it on the PS5 someday.
They're the most normie, streamlined games out thereThey are hard
They're the most normie, streamlined games out there
if they were truly hard no one would play them
Yes, all of themDid you beat any souls?
dishonest questionHow many times you died?
Stop editing your comment no one cares about your brain dead cousinI remember my sex haver cousin tried DS3 and couldn't beat the first boss, and left it

Thanks for the tip. I'll try to remember this.Taurus demon can lose lots of HP, get up the tower and do a jump attack when he chases you, to do masive damage. If timing roll feels too hard, try using a shield (Remember to put it down between enemy attacks, so stamima regens faster) . When you master it, try rolling again.
no one plays a souls game for the lore or story lolFF7 has more lore then all the dark souls games combine and actually has its own story to tell.

For a while, I thought I had to get a stronger weapon as well.
how is the game overpretentious, it's literally as basic as it can getJust force players to look up how to beat your overpretentious game theory

Its too hrad
Did you get a lil help from AI in order to write this?If you can hit the bull's eye four times in a row, you're a genius. Hidetaka Miyazaki did it with the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elder Ring.
DS is now outdated, visually and gameplay-wise. It was never finished (hello dragon asses in Lost Izalith). Its interface is full of riddles, which goes against all design canons.
But the author managed to create a new genre, make it popular, and over the years bring it to near perfection.
Besides the fact that DS1 is a good, interesting adventure, its significance is revealed in how the series and the genre have evolved.
Many things are better seen from afar, but some things are better seen up close (this applies to many cultural phenomena, the meaning of which eludes without context).
