Ocasionally I browse facebook for memes and out of nowhere I see that my currycel friend from uni has posted a huge wall of text about how amazing his work experience is, about what motivates him to work, how grateful he is for having worked with X company, his KPIs, etc. It's really cringe and self-fellating at times. All the garbage you write in cover letters with the hope of getting an interview, he just posts them on his facebook profile. What explains this weird behavior? Is he paranoid that the employer will look at his social media and he wants to look as professional as possible? Just put that shit in linkedin and keep your facebook private if you're that worried. Stop being a tryhard.
