Story Curry tried to scam me today

Went to a curry jewelry store (curries never shop at white jewelry stores, they think they have fake gold)

Trying to buy a bracelet for my relative who’s getting married.

Looked through options, spent about 30 minutes. Kept trying to leave, curry wouldn’t let me go, kept trying to upsell me.

Settled on a $1600 bracelet.
Gave curry owner money in cash but immediately then decide not to buy it and look someplace cheaper.

Curry owner yells at me and says no refund. Tell him I haven’t even got the bracelet yet. It’s not even been 10 seconds since I gave him the cash.

Curry owner literally hides the cash and tells me go away I’m not giving you a refund. He also never gave me a receipt btw. He said we don’t give receipts (just LOL)

Stuck with a shitty overpriced bracelet.

Get mad at him decide to call cops.
Curry gets scared and hides in the back room.

Cops arrive, I tell them situation. Cops go in talk to owner , tell him to give me money back because that’s not right to just take money without giving receipt and when I already made up my mind not to buy.

Curry owner grudgingly has to give me back cash.

Win.

And then curries ask why white people hate us?? Almost every curry business I’ve dealt with has been this way. All scammers. All ugly as shit as well.

I said "Well, then at least make it $2.50/hour." He said okay. >mfw I see him a few days later donating $50 to the local mosque, he also bought a new car around the same time. I was working during Ramadan which means I didn't eat and I worked for 6 hours that day before he told me he wouldn't pay me the amount of money he said he would. Tl;dr fuck curries indeed.

This is true, I went to a liquor store owned by a curry and he was a rude piece of shit. He thought my credit card was stolen despite me showing him my ID and everything, in the end he refused me service.

I went to another liquor store down the road owned by some Asian man and had a far better experience. He was smiley and friendly and I bought my booze no problem.

Currys think they are still back in curryland and can treat people like shit. Atleast asians are higher IQ enough to realize they're in a different country and need to behave accordingly.
