I guess this technique is just an inevitable part of negotiations. If you feel that the other person is in a much stronger position (in this case that they have a much higher SMV, as do all people of their gender - the one you're attracted to), you're likely to concede a lot more ground.

It's normal I think for the man to provide for the woman to some degree. Because a woman's role typically and traditionally has been to maintain the home, raise children, form connections in the local community, etc.

Home life is just as important as work life, which I think is something the feminists completely miss.

Betabuxxers take it further though don't they in that they let the woman walk all over them and give them a lot more than would be considered reasonable simply as a provider.
