Lol. I'm not going to a fireworks show. Thankfully we have a big backyard/property so as usual we will be shooting off the fireworks at home. Which saves me from having to go out in public with my godawful looks at least but it will be exhausting to run around dealing with extended family, I'm not good at social interactions even with relatives. Always felt awkward.

I agree, with valentines day it isn't as bad because you know 63% of males are there with you, and you can just sleep though new years, it's a one minute holiday.
Not in my experience. Back when I was attending high school a few years ago I remember attending on Valentine's Day every year I was there. I almost felt like faking sick every time. The amount of happy couples I saw while I was just a loner creep no one cared for was pure suifuel and by the end of the day I always felt like going ER. If I ever get a job again I'm definitely calling sick on Valentine's.
I did forget about the high school years, I feel like it's different when you're older, though.
