Discussion CONSIDERING BEING PRESCRIBED ANTIDEPRESSANTS, NEED YOUR THOUGHTS

It's been three years that I've felt like this. I can't get up to do anything in my life. I used to laugh at people who would call themselves 'depressed' and gouge down SSRIs but at this point I don't see an alternative.

Do any of you have experience taking antidepressants? Are they effective? Please no bullshit medical conspiracy theories, just science and your personal experience/

I've taken the blackpill but I don't want to be a neet. I come from a very working class family and we don't have much. I swear to God I'm literally eating a piece of mouldy, stale bread. If I want to atleast help myself financially I need to work and study hard which I can't do if I'm depressed all the time.

I've taken fluoxetine for agoraphobia. Didn't do anything except for make me lose 10kg. If I were you, I would exhaust my options before hopping on meds.

I take them. Good side is they slightly take you inhibition away. Also makes you happier overall but nothing to ocrazy. Same claim it takes away your libido. I only noticed that the first two weeks
