To believe in yourself, your success.

But, let us think for a moment.

Is confidence actually a good thing?

I would say that confidence is really a bad thing.


Confident people are often unprepared for the unexpected.
They thought that everything was going to be fine…….so they didn’t stop to think about what could go wrong.
Thus, they are totally unprepared when shit happens.

Confidence can also make us ignore our own faults, our own limitations.
Like, the person who wants to be a scientist……but their IQ is 80.
Or the person who signs up to run a marathon, when they’ve never run more than 3 miles before.
And worse, the guy who tries to fight 5 other guys at the same time.

A pessimist would understand that success is highly unlikely in the above scenarios.
A confident person on the other hand, walks right into certain disaster.

The problem with confidence is that is like a cancer.
It grows over time….until one day…..we have hit the point of no return.

The longer one is confident, and the more confidence they have……..the worse the eventual downfall will be.

And by the way……foids don’t like confidence.
