Strangely enough, I can always and easily fall asleep. I mean, before I turned my life around, I had moments in the past where I was afraid of not building up the courage for suicide before the police would kick my door in and throw me out because I didn't pay the rent for my apartment. But even back then I always had the best sleep. There is an alternative world in my own head I can usually escape to once I lie in bed.
