Personally, I recommend Celeste the most, to anyone.
weird lineup, not going to lie, hollow knight is a memory-based trial and error game and you put it next to high skill requiring fast-paced games.

Very different style of game. I've played both, but vastly preferred Pizza Tower. Pizza Tower is incredibly fun, particularly if you go for P ranks (they are quite challenging and require precision and a decent amount of memorisation, that's where the majority of my time in that game has gone). The sense of speed is great, once you master the moveset, you can effectively traverse each level at an extremely high speed.
I'd say it's 100% worth playing, especially if you enjoy grinding out levels for top ranks, I find that to be incredibly fun.
The music is also great and I like the artstyle a lot as well.

I don't, although now that you mention it, it does stand in stark contrast to hollow knight... While I'd criticize Ultrakill for being overly dependent on gunplay/aiming skill than movement which I would have liked a ton more (and is the reason I didn't bother playing the game) it's still a game that requires skill, Hollow Knight is not, it's essentially a souls-like, you memorize the parry timing and you win.
