It's the first Digimon game that finally feels worth buying at full price. I'm glad they finally improved enough to make a very good game that actually beats any modern Pokemon game or even Atlus games.

About the world that got destroyed by ultra powerful Digimons and you have to go back in time and find a way to stop it. You do quests to progress and unlock new areas.
You fight enemy digimons, level up your digimons and get new skills (either through leveling or from shop/quests), you can evolve them into another bunch of digimons but they require set of stats. You can digitalize ones that you have defeated so you can summon them once they are ready (100% ready to summon but 200% gives you better stats). Game is pretty linear but is semi open world so you don't feel really constrained you can go back to previous areas (except destroyed earth obviously) to grind and to shop.
Play Tank Racer on PC / PS1.
