EU is not Europe anyway, and you shouldn't at all celebrate being an EU member state.
It's brutal, but it's a necessary step. I do support a European federation. Not because I want to deprive countries of sovereignty, but because without it, we as a continent, won't have ANY sovereignty on the international stage. We'll be a slave to Washington, Beijing, Moscow, or any other superpowers.

kinda sad to see our own currency go, but it is a step forward to become a part of something greater and not a banana republic.

Really sad day for Bulgarians. If Serbia gave up the Independence for their own second oldest currency to foreign people who could manipulate interest rates at will, I would absolutely protest.
Considering the Euro isn't working as intended and Finance Ministers across the EU are thinking of leaving it, I would say that was a bad decision. It's done nothing but bad to every country in the Eurozone: exposed Greece et al to debt they shouldn't have been, and it's under-priced for Germany and other Western countries.
