Really sad day for Bulgarians. If Serbia gave up the Independence for their own second oldest currency to foreign people who could manipulate interest rates at will, I would absolutely protest.

Considering the Euro isn't working as intended and Finance Ministers across the EU are thinking of leaving it, I would say that was a bad decision. It's done nothing but bad to every country in the Eurozone: exposed Greece et al to debt they shouldn't have been, and it's under-priced for Germany and other Western countries.
