Boot Battle: Nike SFB Field 2 versus Nike SFB B1

The Nike SFB Field 2 is a heavy duty boot.
They are a little heavy compared to the B1.
And they are a buttfucker to run miles in. They are just too heavy and not comfortable to run in.
But….the Field 2 is built to last.
I’ve had mine for 7 months and they show little signs of wear.
Still in good condition even after daily wear.
Keep in mind that I don’t have a car, so I walk or run everywhere.
I may cover 10 miles in day.
So, the Field 2 have excellent durability.
They are also weather resistant. Through the snow and rain my feet stayed dry.


I just got my Nike SFB B1 boots a week ago.
I went for a run……and they are actually nice to run in.
Much more comfortable than the Field 2.
Much lighter too.

But will the B1 have the durability of the Field 2?
Time will tell.
Are they water resistant?
Well, it was raining today and my feet kept dry.
But, of course, the real test comes when I have to walk through deep snow.

Both boots are good choices.
But, my pick is the B1 for the summer.
I plan on really getting the miles in during the warm weather.
And I’m not so concerned with the boots being super protective of my feet.
